Duty Description According to the Rules of Iranian Scientific Association of Architecture & Urbanism

    • President of Association
    • Carry out the duties specified in the association’s regulations or the duties assigned by the board of directors of the association;
    • Ensure that the community’s activities and programs are in line with the Association’s missions and science loyalty;
    • Attending related activities, scientific and public societies as the representative of the association;
    • Report on the annual meeting on association’s activities;
    • Vice Chairman
    • All duties in the absence of the chairman;
    • Treasurer
    • Perform the duties specified in the regulations or duties determined by the board of directors;
    • Fulfillment and compliance of financial affairs with existing laws;
    • Ensuring the continuation of the activities of the Association through the efficient and effective use of available resources;
    • Ensure the allocation of community resources to activities that promote the mission of the association;
    • Report to the members of the Association at the annual meeting on the status and financial conditions of the Association;
    • Board of Directors
    • Manage current affairs of the Association in accordance with the articles of association and approvals of the General Assembly;
    • Organize and hold scientific seminars;
    • Encourage members to create collaborative programs on specific topics, in particular interdisciplinary topics and management of international study and research programs;
    • Provide active contributions and proposals in the formulation of the mission, long-term goals, short-term goals and community policies. ;
    • Programming, organizing and directing community activities and affairs of the staff of the association;
    • Establishing the required committees and selecting the chairman of the committees;
    • The board may take any necessary action and transaction that is necessary for the transfer of immovable property to mortgages and borrowings, with the exception of the definitive transfer of immovable property requires approval by the General Assembly;
    • Inspectors
    • Review the documents and financial offices of the Association and prepare reports for the General Assembly;
    • Review the Annual Report of the Board and prepare a report on the functioning of the Association for information to the General Assembly;
    • Report any violation of the Board of Directors from the provisions of the Articles of Association to the General Assembly;
    • General Assemblies
    1. Ordinary General Assembly
    • Appointment of the general assembly’s members and inspector (inspectors in case of the existence of more than one primary inspector)
    • Enactment of the association’s policy
    • Investigation and approval of the suggestions made by the board of directors and inspector (inspectors)
    • Determination of a fee for membership
    • Deposing of the board of directors and inspector(inspectors)
    • Investigating and enacting the association’s income and cost balance and statements for the past fiscal year and the upcoming year’s budget.
    1. Extraordinary General Assembly
    • Enactment of the changes in the contents of the charter
    • Enactment of the association’s dissolution
